with a loud laugh, he swoops you into his arms and eats the rest of the pancake! that cruel man. you could sob that smile away, but it makes you weak.

“I shall make you more baobei.”

“IT WILL NEVER BE THE SAME!” You cry out, dramatically rocking yourself from side to side in his arms, head tilted back with such grief riddled across your expression. Nothing could ever fix this—

“I shall put your favorite toppings on it.” you halt when his words sneak into your ear, a small grin gracing your face.

there it is, the face of getting your way. he loves it.

“. . . I want 4 fluffy ones too. pancakes.”

“one could arrange that.” he hums in response to you and presses a kiss to your lips.

“There are a thousand more pancakes being made in the kitchens, darling.” He hums and tilts his head with a smile. Only to close his eyes once more when you give him a small glare and a pout.

“it was such a small bite songbird. it was tiny.” he sighs, and you can’t help but wave your arms in exasparation.

“IT WAS BIG!”

“That is a clear lie, and it fed me less than the pancake.” he chuckles and shakes his head, sitting down next to you and shoving one of the pancake toppings into your mouth to hush you, along with a part of the pancake. pressing a kiss to your lips once your mouth is closed.

“I MADE THEM FOR YOU I WANTED TO KNOW HOW IT TASTED TOO!!” He cries out from laughter. coming in fits as always, he can’t control nor stop it. The sight of your fake distress especially made him lose it.

“MAKE SOME FOR YOURSELF THEN!” You yell back and point at him, dragging your plate of pancakes away, while sobbing from chuckling.

“THEY TASTE BETTER WHEN THEY’RE YOURS, AND IN YOUR PRESENCE.”

A moment later, a pancake slaps straight onto his face and stays there as you throw the one he bit. watching as it slowly gets absorbed into his grinning mouth.

I absolutely love buddies Danny and Jason that meet back when Jason was dead to then either lose contact because one-sided amnesia from being brought back to life or yes we have kept in touch all this time but it will not be brought up until the situation calls for it. yep. its great and angst and friendship but i raise you

Jason who regains his memories from when he was dead after being dunked in the pit but has no way on doing anything about them since he needs a core to do a summoning call and because of the corrupted ectoplasm he can’t feel his anymore

i mean

i love angst and long lost childhood(?) friends so this is a good mix of both, the storyline goes the same for jay, who on top of having to deal with the whole i-died-and-nothing-changed hurt and betrayal, struggles to make amends over having no one there for him, over having the gnawing feeling of a vital part of him missing, replaced with a feeling so raw of wrongness he wants to claw it off but can’t, that drives him to anger every time and to lash out and be afraid to find comfort in anyone because he did that, both in life and in death and both were ripped away without warning, so harshly it was like he had grabbed onto a rope he wasn’t sure it would hold only for when he finally grabbed tight it was for it to get teared away so hard it hurt his hands, left him bleeding and falling and without any support.

it certainly doesn’t help the madness, but how would he react years later when he’s back with the family and then they have to summon the ghost king??

Sometimes I love the fact I have such an active imagination that I can picture the feel, taste, texture, temperature, smell and sound of an experience as if it were really happening to me.

It’s great when I, say, watch a video of someone ice skating at midnight on a full moon across a frozen lake holding a lantern while the aurora borealis shines above. I can picture all of that. The sharp sting of the air and the burn in my nostrils and the almost ozone scent of ice and snow. The cold touch of everything around me, the pumping of my legs underneath me as I glide across the ice. Feeling as though nature itself has put a spotlight on you with how bright the moon is shining.

Or when I’m reading of something taking place in this either fantasy or sci-fi realm then I can picture that world in vibrant detail.

However, there are some drawbacks.

Seeing a character get wounded gives me phantom pains of the injury. Reading about something happening to somebody’s body in detail has me imagine as though that were happening to me instead.

Very unfortunately, my favorite fandom has a high percentage of body horror fics and fics where the main character is vivisected.

That fandom is that of a 2004 children’s cartoon.

I so desperately want to make a Phantom of the opera fanfic with an oc that travels from our reality to theirs so I can write scenes where it shows the Phantom of the Opera world is clearly a musical with people randomly and in sync burst into songs with a whole dance choreography and orchestra to go along with it. With her, the happy and creative soul that she is, not only fully embraces it but has as much fun as she can with it; cause you know that girl will take any chance to feel like a Disney princess. Which, same.

But nope, I just don’t have the stamina for writing fics so that’s gonna be in my for the considerable future. Here’s hoping I can make some fan art tho.

Another AU?!! You spoil us, honestly, I love them all!

It’s okay if you don’t want to answer this but- is younger Vlad the "loves Dani" Vlad or is there an AU Vlad in the mix? And does Dani get to interact with younger Vlad? If so how are they with each other? I can’t help feeling that it’s be awkward as heck if she’s already been rejected by older Vlad, esp. of D-Stabilized still happens, but she’d still be drawn to him regardless. And he’d def want a relationship with her… Id think.

Yep! Young Vlad is the one who loves Dani. This AU involves Dani becoming trapped in the mid 1980s, shortly after Vlad escapes the hospital. This is soon after Kindred Spirits for Dani, and in the present day Vlad is hunting her and she falls through a ghost zone time portal trying to get away from him and finds herself in Madison, Wisconsin in 1986. She encounters young Vlad and they strike up this awkward hesitant friendship because despite Vlad being a tortured, bitter, self absorbed tsundere even at the age of 24, he can identify with this strange runaway girl who was betrayed by someone who was supposed to care about her...

This AU is basically just a blend of horrible angst (Dani is actively dying and has to keep everything a secret from Vlad) and domestic fluff with 1980s flavoring lol. I won't be dropping the art posts until late December so stay tuned!

Just thinking about how for Luke’s parents every parents worst fear came true. Their son ran away, they haven’t had contact in months, don’t even know if he’s alive or where he is, and then one night they turn on the news and there he is, but it’s not because he’s a star. No. He is dead.

The last words that Luke and his mom said to each other were in anger. And we know that Luke’s dad wasn’t even home when he ran away as we can see him just pulling up in the driveway when Emily runs out.

Luke’s last interaction with his mom is him saying he never wants to see her again, but then up until his last days he regrets saying that and keeps looking for ways to reconnect.

But he never got to, because he died. And how did his parents find out? A news channel.
